Problem.....
Since the settlement of the Australian continent only a little over 200 years ago, a number of its unique animals and plants have disappeared and many others are threatened with extinction. The introduction of animals from other countries has been a major factor is this decline in the number of of native species. Some of these introduced animals are termed "feral" due to the damage they cause.
NSW Schools have been given the opportunity to win a fifty thousand dollar grant donated by an unknown animal lover to eradicate one of these introduced feral species.
But There's a Catch!
You must research three feral animals, what they look like, where they live, why they were introduced, the damage they cause and how they can be eradicated.
You must then choose one pest to be destroyed and support your choice in an audio and visual slide show presentation to be given to your class using Kidpix.
Good Luck in your quest for $50,000
